This morning we were woken up by a breathtaking sight. The dawn bathed the sky in a warm, orange-red light and the freshly snow-covered Valais mountains shone in the distance. The clear view over Lake Maggiore was simply magical. After arriving in the dark last night from the rainy north, this view in the morning was surprising.

Lake Maggiore is a jewel of nature, and a boat trip is the perfect way to explore the beauty of the lake and its surroundings. We look forward to getting on board and enjoying the fresh air and picturesque views.
Hike in the surrounding area
The area surrounding Laveno is a paradise for nature lovers. With the freshly snow-covered Valais mountains as a backdrop, we plan to go on a hike and explore the breathtaking landscape.
Dolce far niente
And of course there is the sweet temptation to simply do nothing. With such glorious weather and pleasant temperatures, it's tempting to just sit back, relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings.
No matter what we ultimately decide to do, the surroundings of Chalet Bubi e Nelly will enchant us with their beauty. That's why we use this day to discover the nature, culture and delicious cuisine of this region. The south has a lot to offer, and here on Lake Maggiore every activity becomes an unforgettable experience.
